Length of Time on the Server:
I am one of the longest surviving players in the Fallout RP community. Since CGC 1.0 in early 2017. I played intermittently in the following years, but have decided to throw my hat back into the Fallout fold. As for Phoenix, I joined about four days ago.


Why do you want to be a staff member?(100 word minimum):
Frankly, the relationship between staff and the playerbase is unstable. Players feel unheard, core contributors to major factions are requesting LOAs out of frustration with the status quo, and we stand at risk of losing a great community opportunity before it even really begins. The honest truth is that if we can not make this work, it is very likely that Fallout RP has no future. Roadkill and the dev team work like slaves on the daily to tweak content and balance, but this shit is hard - and it takes time. There isn’t going to be some miracle framework that saves the day down the line, it's either this or nothing. The community needs to put its heads together and fix its staff/member relations or we will never have a Fallout server to play. Simple as that. Nothing will be handed to anybody. We all have to make it work.


That said, the staff team needs to start clearly communicating what fixes and balance changes are planned, or ensure those updates are being pushed through in-game leadership. If staff has been totally blindsided by the community’s displeasure, it is incumbent upon them to deepen their relationship with regular players so that their grievances are being heard. Right now, the main body of players have no idea what is going on - there has been little to no communication from the top down on what is being done to address the concerns of the playerbase. To boot, staff is finding itself embroiled in its own drama that is being represented poorly to the community. In no uncertain terms, the faith that the community possesses in the staff’s ability to look out for them is eroding.


I want to join the team to see the issues with my own two eyes and offer solutions. I want this community to survive because of my attachment to Fallout RP and its future. Since Divide, Fallout communities have been marked by endless player wipes, mismanagement, and failure. It would be refreshing for everyone if that were to finally change. We can not let Project Phoenix be another chip in the wall of failed projects. It's fun to shoot each other and talk shit in game, but this is one team. If we do not all work for the common goal of this community’s survival, have fun waiting another six months for another Fallout server to open up and die the exact same way.

Tons. I’ve staffed on basically every gamemode you can think of over the past decade or so.


What Skills/Attributes do you bring to the table?:
Most importantly, I possess a drive to keep things afloat. I am willing to bridge whatever gaps exist between staff members, players, factions, or anything, to keep Phoenix up. I’m tired of cycling between the same story.


I have a strong aptitude for the schema and commands. Unless there are new commands related to Phoenix’s gamemode, I do not need any training or guidance as to how to actually perform staff functions.

  • NLR relates to the past 15 minutes of gameplay.
  • No Teleporter/Spawn camping (grace period) during raids
  • Level 10 players or below are immune from mugging/Do not kill people you mug or force-ghoulify
  • Mutants and PA = 1.5 people, FearRP does not apply to groups of 4 or more.
  • You may not defect from a faction with their equipment without management approval
  • It is expected that new characters will be treated with lenience (mugging, or otherwise interfering with their progress).
