1. Bag Item Filters (Path of Exile–style):
Allow each bag to have a configurable item filter that defines what types of items can automatically go into it.
When looting items already present in your inventory (e.g., Rubber ×2), any newly looted identical items automatically stack onto existing stacks instead of creating new ones.
A “Clean Up Inventory” button reorders items within each bag for clarity.
Posting since I noticed the shift clicking of items that was implemented. Given the nature of the server, all these items and looting at its core, these implementations would be huge... would definitely make a serious impact on how people go about their business: everyone would take advantage of these implementations and be able to play more seamlessly.
Running around, stuffing items in your bags mindlessly, and managing it all mindlessly is horrible. Every time you decide to loot you're solving a new puzzle (crafting: stash, make space, drag stuff around). Nonetheless, even during raids or combat... people im sure would be incentivized to use or better enjoy using chems given the neatness of it all. No fear or friction when it comes to interacting or managing items.
This is my quality of life suggestion.
Allow each bag to have a configurable item filter that defines what types of items can automatically go into it.
- Example: A bag labeled “Chems” accepts only chemical items.
- When looting, if the item matches a bag’s filter, it goes directly into that bag and skips the others.
When looting items already present in your inventory (e.g., Rubber ×2), any newly looted identical items automatically stack onto existing stacks instead of creating new ones.
- Example: Looting one more Rubber adds it to the existing Rubber ×2, making it Rubber ×3.
A “Clean Up Inventory” button reorders items within each bag for clarity.
- Example: You have Rubber, Wood, Plastic, Wood, Steel, Rubber.
- Pressing the button re-sorts the items into grouped order:
Rubber, Rubber, Wood, Wood, Plastic, Steel.
- Sorting logic:
- Group identical item types together.
- Group identical item types together.
