Stella was a young, aspiring military police cadet stationed at a domestic training facility in the mid-west. She was driven by a strong sense of order and duty, a trait that made her an excellent candidate for security work. In the chaotic final months before the Great War, she was selected by a Vault-Tec recruiter specifically for her military-grade security training and her unimpeachable service record. She viewed her transfer to Vault-Tec as an emergency promotion, believing she was being tasked with safeguarding humanity's future.
