Months later, people near Primm started whispering about shapes moving through the dust at night, men in scorched armor, their skin welded to it, faces hidden behind cracked masks. They came crawling out of the west, silent and empty, following roads that don’t exist anymore. Some say the Divide finally gave up what it couldn’t bury. Now they roam the Mojave, carried by the wind and hate alone.
